American Onion Vice-President, Bill Levy remarks; “We are the only Chilean sweet onions ever to attain the Certified Sweet™ status from NOL. We were very confident our Patagonia’s would be truly sweet, but now we have NOL’s certification to prove it.”

American Onion, Inc. also utilizes the industry-leading, third-party certification program to ensure quality in its Oregon-based Hermiston Sweets™ in the program with much success.

Patagonia Sweets that attain NOL’s Certified Sweet™ are expected to be on retail shelves beginning mid-December, 2006.
